The Canadian Rocket Society has been flying rockets in southern Ontario since 1942. Originally developed along the lines of the old VfR of
Germany by Hillel Diamond and others, the society was intended to develop rocket technology during the war years and beyond.
Since the 1960s, the CRS has been operating as a model rocket club, supporting education
and research in the fields of aerospace science. We are a charter section of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada.
